Hi all!
Thank you for having us!
We are a couple from Portugal and we have two children. Last year we bought and restored an Eriba Pan Familie from 1979. We went to France on vacation with it and it was wonderful.
We will post some pictures soon. I have to ask my husband to do it because I don't know how it is done :-)
Anyway, if you are curious, just go to our facebook: Rent My Eriba

Last year we have been to the Vallée de la Loire. We wanted to see the castles so we visited some of them including the Chambord and Chenanceau castles. The kids loved it. Also we visited many interesting places: Pyrenees, Ille Oleron, La Rochelle, St. Jean de Monts, Biarritz, Espelette.
In 2011 and 2012 we went to cote d'azur, Monaco, St. Topez...
France has a lot to see and enjoy! We love it.
And the Eriba is so easy to maneuver and roll that we are always changing campsites pursuing other beautiful things...
We always go for a month but always seems not enough :-)

Hello again,
thanks for your greetings!
I will make a brief presentation of our project. In the beggining of this year we started thinking that it would be great to receive people here in Portugal who would like camp in an Eriba but would not be interested in travelling with a caravan. This way you can fly to Portugal and still enjoy a wonderful stay in our Eriba wherever you like!
What we do is we rent you our caravan and bring it to a campsite of your choise. We have partnerships with some campsites in nothern Portugal, namely, Porto, Braga, Vila Real, Coimbra, among others. Other regions are also available on demand.
This is a photo of our Eriba but you can see another ones in the picture gallery .
As you can see the caravan has been restored but all the original interior´s were maintained.
The restoration included a new floor, chassis protection against corrosion, a new eletric system and gas inpection. The sink, the fridge and the stove are all working perfectly.
Our Eriba is in such good condition that it's almost hard to believe it already has 35 years! A perfect classic.
You can follow this project in https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rent-My-E...95?ref=settingsand don´t forget to give us a "like"!
Thank you for giving us the oportunity to share our project. We are willing to actively participate in this forum and surely we will learn a lot from this community.
Regards Sónia and Ricardo

Hi Sonia and Ricardo.
What a lovely idea. Thanks for sharing it with us and thanks for the photos. If you have a link to the camp sites you use you can post them in the camp site links on this website.
We hope your venture will be a great success. There is a company in the UK who we think do a similar thing but without the fabulous weather you get in Portugal
One of our other members, LindaJ (Linda and John) tried it out before ordering an Eriba of their own. You can find the link to that company on the following thread:- Hire - try before you buy
