C&MHC Power Cuts

For our first trip of 2017 (Just stuff getting in the way) we trundled up to the Queen Elizabeth CC site in Stonehaven for Hogmanay.

Unsurprisingly it is full and also unsurprisingly the gin palaces tend to use a lot of electricity for their hot tubs and such like.

Surprisingly, given that its a new site, there was no electricity yesterday morning and in the afternoon the facilities block was shut and power restored to the pitches.

This morning the pitches had no power and the amenities block was back in use.

Given its the north of Scotland, on the coast and December, it can get a little chilly and so I am a little peeved that the CC designed their electrical system to not cope with peak demand, particularly as its 28 quid a night.

I feel an apology and some financial recompense is due, but am I likely to be banging my head against a brick wall?

Charlie,
I'm guessing you meant 2018, but are probably hung over.
I would push for a full refund. You paid for a service and this was not provided.
If you paid by credit card I would get your provider involved if the club was not forthcoming.

Ditto, I'd definitely complain and keep complaining until you got some money back, Club sites aren't cheap and the reason people are prepared to pay more is because the facilities are supposed to be better.

Hogmanay was 2017 so could have been first trip. I too would be asking for full refund and see what they offer.
