Can this be fixed

My wife, Nia, has just bought a 2008 VW Caddy 2.0 Turbo deisel.

It wasn't intended to be as a tow vehicle but it has part of a towbar on it (see picture) so I'm looking at whether it's feasible to fix or do I replace.

On looking on the underside I can make out that it's a Witter towbar.

Can I purchase a new ball part to fit this or do I need to replace the whole assembly?

Thanks,

Kevin

I would expect that you can just buy the swan neck ball that goes into the socket. Look up your local Witter supplier for the expert advice/price. The rest just lloks like it needs a good clean, and a new socket might be advisable.
