We have a Triton and can move it by hand on site but we had a similar difficulty getting it up the kerb on arriving home(our road is too narrow to reverse the van in due to an ill positioned street light) When one of our children is at home to lend a little extra push all was well but if they were all out the van had to stay on the road til one of them came home early and sober enough to lend a hand. So, we bought a Mr Shifta second hand off Ebay - it works a treat, lives in the garage until required and is quick and easy to use. Some people have reported that they have had some problems with getting it to push up kerbs we have fashioned a couple of tiny wooden ramps to deal with this potential problem and find that it works best if we cross the kerb at a slight angle so that the wheels mount the kerb one at a time, then we straighten up and wriggle round our curved drive. Might be worth a try if you could perhaps borrow one.
