I reckon the sensible approach would be for all the swimming pools along your route - and any which you may choose to visit ad hoc - to apprise themselves of your plans far enough in advance to allow them to ban everybody else from the pool, irrespective of age, gender and how long ago they washed their tackle.

That way you can wear whatever you like, including that stripy Edwardian onesie.

You know, the costume that makes you look like a humbug on legs...

My father had knitted, swimming trunks, I never forget the day, he was coming back up the beach from the sea
When his trunks, popped into holes, and my Mum running towards him with a towel to cover him up.
