I found lots of useful tips on the forum before I purchased my Eriba, which was great

Below is a modification I made to the Thule 1200 bag awning, which may help as a guide for someone contemplating buying this awning.

Additional note:
Ideally make sure to tape the top part of the rail too, I did not do this and spent much time cleaning the excess Sikaflex off the rail, preferably mask all areas with tape, before applying the sikaflex, which allows one to use a small plastic tool to smear and shape the sikaflex at leisure and not worry about over smear. Removing the tape later removes all the sikaflex except where it is required : )
