Hi,my name is Aidan and I live in Ireland.I bought a 1981 Puck 2 years ago as a 40th birthday present and I tow it with my Minis. In 2013 I towed it all the way to Mugello over the Col de Cenis to the International Mini Meeting with my Mini Clubman 1275GT and last year I was in Kent with my Mini Clubman Estate.I also sprayed the bottom of it to match the colour of my estate and we get a great reaction wherever we go.I bought a cheap second hand awning to keep me out of the rain as my wife and two kids snuggle up in the Puck but I hope to buy a Solpair Vendee awning if one comes up but they seem to be a rare item but I will keep looking. After years of camping I doubt I will ever sell my Puck.

Hi Aidan and welcome to Eribafolk. This is not you by any chance :- g11p1180-Mini-Clubman.html
This photo was posted on Facebook last year and I seem to remember it was from Ireland.
Have you ever met up with MiniKay g2p1025-Minikay-s-Puck.html who does a lot of the Mini rallies both at home and abroad?

Hi Randa, yes that is my estate and puck in that photo. Not one for the purists with the painted bottom half but I don't ever intend on selling it.And yes I know Kay well,it was when I started going to International Mini Meetings that I learned about Pucks and always vowed I would get one and I was lucky enough to spot my one for sale in Northern Ireland.I have fitted a new hob and the next job this Summer is to source a good quality awning to replace the not so waterproof one I have and to fit a 3 way fridge as well.

Gosh, that takes me back. In the early 1980's we had a blue Mini Clubman Estate and with two small children and two small dogs we would drive out into the countryside and have picnics and days by the seaside - it seems an age ago but so nice to be reminded by such a well kept example of this iconic car. I think the match with the Puck is superb.
