I wonder if it would be a nice idea to extend this thread to include great bike routes experienced by Eriba Folk?

We did this one a few years back and the Frantones joined us to do the green bit.(see map) :-

I'm bumping this thread in the hope that we can get more information about safe cycling both in the UK and Europe.

The two Eriba couples we spent some time with last night are both enthusiastic cyclists and are constantly looking for ideas were to park up.

Anyone recommend some good cycle ways?

We visited Campsite Les Cerisiers du Jaur *** ACSI 2523 last September. It is about 20miles NE of Carcasonne. Just outside the entrance is an 80km cycle path that takes the path of an old railway line. It is obviously a nice gentle slope.
