Puck tyre pressures?

Can anyone give me an idea of the correct tyres pressures please.

145 R10 8 ply 84/82N on a 10 inch wheel fitted to a 400kgs Puck. The tyres are rated to a max pressure of 60psi.

I was thinking of putting about 26 psi into them but am not sure.

Many thanks

26 psi seems a bit low for 10" tyres on your Puck , Jules.

I think 36 psi (~2.5 Bar) would be nearer the mark.

If the little fella bounces around too much with 36 psi try a few pounds lower.

Too low a pressure and the tyres will run hot.

JohnE, what would you advise for a 1200kg Triton GT, with the 14 inch alloys?

Thanks John. The 'hot running temp' makes sense. - I'll try your suggestion and see how it goes.

SWA49, search 'tyre pressures' on this forum, and I'm sure you'll find the info you require.

In an attempt to get to know my Puck better I have become a little confused about tyre pressures. There doesn't seem to be a definitive list for all ages and types of Eribas. Maybe something can be collated and set in a technical section of the forum as the place to go.

I have a 1997 Puck 120 (Purple stripe) Plated as 600kg max. It has 135/80R13 tyres fitted with a max rating shown of 44psi.

My research has revealed an Eriba owners instruction booklet (pdf dated 03/11) listing tyre pressures for a Puck 120 (650kg) as 2.4bar/35psi on 135/R13 tyres. The only other reference I can find is much older for a Puck (500kg) on 135/sr13 tyres at 2.4bar/33psi.

It appears at 600kg my Puck falls between the two. Has anyone a copy of a 1997 Puck instruction manual or can confirm the correct tyre pressure for my combination. There must be identical versions out there, did any instructions come with them?

I will attempt to attach the 2 instruction booklets I have mentioned once I have posted. The older one I have seen on here before.

Hi swa49
Suggest you have a look at the recent posts and advice about my newly acquired, 2005 Triton tyre pressures....
It would appear that key pieces of information are the max axle weight, the tyre speed rating and the max psi marked on the tyres. Mine were C (commercial) and 65psi max pressure.
The recommendation based on these 3 elements was 48 psi

Correction to the above. Sorry, for speed rating read Load index.
The Tyresafe pressure calculator is very helpful...

Bobb: When I looked at Tyresafe it didn't have 135/R13 listed for a 600kg caravan.

I would just go for 35 PSI.

Hi. In the manual 35 psi is stated as the working pressure.
