Electrolux Fridge power consumption

The Troll, and all the documentation related to it, are away at the moment. I'm plannning the Croatia trip and I've noticed that some of my likely campsites only offer a 6 amp electrical supply. I've dug around a bit but can't find a definitive answer to my query, what is the likely power consumption of the fridge in my van? I think it may be 6amp, in which case, boiling water for tea might need to be on gas!

Any thoughts?

Do not worry. It is nearer 1/2 amp. On 6 amp hook up we use the vans fridge along with seperate table-top fridge and freezer in the awning. We then use either a Remoska, low wattage electric kettle or the vans hot water heater or 500w heater, but only one of these at a time. We have not tripped the hook-up with this set-up.

The specification rates the fridge heater at 125W consumption on 240 volts which, as Colin says, gives 0.52A so no need to worry.

Thanks both. I thought I had the wrong end of the stick but needed confirmation from (i was going to say older and) wiser heads.

Thanks...

We always carry small Kettle that can be used on gas just in case we pitch on a site with no EHU.
