Our new 540 has arrived, all clean and shiny. So far all seems OK and OH says it will be much better mobility-wise for himself and his dodgy knees and back. I'm a bit concerned about the finish on the edge of the under bed locker though. I know the veneer is very thin and it won't take much to chip that edge when lifting and lowering the bed. I want to put some sort of edging on to protect it. It's 3.5 cm wide but only really needs the outer edge covered. I seem to remember using (in the long distant past) some sort of flexible lipped edging to finish shelves and worktops. But I can't find it now. If anyone can tell me if it still exists, what it's called and where to get it, I would be grateful. If not please can you recommend something suitable (and easy!!!). Thanks.
