Hi, wondered if anyone could help, we've purchased a second hand Triton which came with an "Almelose" awning And have no idea how to pit this together. It came with no instructions and wondered if anyone would know where we can find some?

Thankyou

Almelose? That's a new one on me. Is that the manufacturer's name or the model of the awning? The reason I ask is that Almelo is a place in the Netherlands.

If the awning came with the Triton then it must be assumed that it was used with the Triton. What type of brackets do you have on the awning rail? Possibly Werbung: THESE at each end and something different in the middle? Also do you have an idea of the overall shape of the awning? If all else fails then perhaps as a team, we can work it out especially if you could post some photos of the poles on here.

Thanks for your prompt reply Randa, Almelose is the name printed on the awning. The old man's away with work for a couple of days now but when he returns we will post some photos.

Cheers Crow, yes this is certainly what the awning should look like, as is said to Randa, the old man's away for a couple of days but as soon as he's back will post some photos of the poles.

As Roger says the fittings are pretty standard except for the later Walker Awnings which use pads.
If you lay the poles out you should find.
4 corner pieces 90 degree bends
2 Apex pieces
3 poles height adjustable
3 rafters with hooks
4 ridge poles
and a short "pole" with a flattened end or a spike (or even both)

Meant thanks for all your help everyone, we have eventually Sussed how to put up the awning. Just practiced with the frame in the back garden. Next time we go away will take some pictures and post on the forum.
