I notice that Eric added some pics of his awning to the gallery yesterday which included this pic of a wheel arch cover.

Any more information?

That's posh.
Is Eric a wealthy man?
In my limited experience, any low-volume purpose-made item with Hymer written on it is likely to be very expensive.
It looks pretty swanky, mind...

Isn't that what is known as a 'spat'? Surely they used to wear them in your day Roger?

The "spat" is the little mudguard Andy often retrofitted to Minis in the 60's before fitting wider wheels although they also used the term when talking about covering the wheelarch for aerodynamic reasons on sports cars. (only the back wheels for obvious reasons )

Surely the term comes from the item of gentlemen's footwear, worn under the trouser bottom around the ankle and on top of the laced or buckled part of the shoe. Very smart with Crocs.

It looks very smart.
Having now used our Kampa 365 pop air awning in real life for the first time on a very windy Anglesey the inadequacies of the Kampa provided "draught skirt" mean that we are thinking of some Heath Robinson solution for the wheel arch. Never thought of something as posh as this - i was thinking of wedging in a piece of old hardboard. MikeT

I wish you hadn't asked that Mike. It won't give you any inspiration as, because we've not used our full awning for some time, it was buried under a mass of other camping junk so is now a bit bruised and battered. However I've just taken two pics of it to show you how not to do it. I can probably reshape it though if I need to use it again.
In good old Blue Peter tradition I used two wire coat hangers. One to form the basic shape to fit under the wheel arch and one as the centre prop which can be bent onto (not into) the ground. I then covered it with spare Protec Cover material using duck tape etc to hold it together. The lower half of the material can be lifted over and outside the awning draft skirt although the only pic I can lay hands on shows it tucked in.
