Could you have the existing shoes relined by a car brake specialist?

That looks like what I will be doing if I can't find new shoes

Hi Jeff. Try sending these people an Email. Although based in Germany, they have good English and have proved very helpful in the past to Classic Eriba owners.

Looks like there'll be a delay in response during August however

Ok, I think I maybe able to help as I replaced the brake shoes on our '75 Familia last year and didn't have any real trouble finding the correct shoes.
You need to carefully measure the inside diameter of the drum and the width of the shoes. These two figures will define the correct replacement parts which are still readily and reasonably cheaply available.

The link below to Western Towing is for a set of 2035 shoes: that is 20cm diameter and 35mm wide. They have many other sizes but our Familia takes 2035,

I just noticed that Western towing is showing the 2035 out of stock - here's another supplier...

I hope this helps, let us know how you get on eh?

Cheers,
Steve.
