Things can get confusing, as with all things involving the French.
As you may know, generally caravan Model Years run from September to September rather than January. So a caravan built in early September 2020 i.e last year, will be a 2021 van. However with Eribas and especially Cernay they didn't rigidly control the specs and different lines built the same models with different fittings. Roger's van is an example where a different version was being produced at the same time. People can also get confused between production date i.e the Model Year and delivery date which might be the following year. For instance a van produced in July 2020 would be a 2020MY but if the customer didn't take delivery until, say, February 2021 they might think they have a 2021 van, but to the trade it's a 2020 and already a year old.
2008MY vans have a very distinct identifier in that they all featured a dark wood strip along the top of the roof lockers, it was the only year that featured that trim. If they haven't got that strip they are either 2007 or 2009.
