Dear all I am new on the forum and do not have an Eriba.....yet!
My problem is that I am " working" on my husband who is reluctant to join me in my quest.....I have dragged him to Poole and we have narrowed down the type "we" are looking for....but then he " cools off" whilst my desire keeps burning. .........
Meanwhile I will look and read on here and enjoy every else's posts and photos......I WILL get one....but perhaps not as quickly as I would prefer.

Welcome Jak?

I reckon this is a common theme; one partner working on the other to come to a joint decision or compromise!
Can you work out any particular concerns he has that you might be able to address with our help on the forum?

The decision to buy an Eriba wasn't an issue for us as we were tent camping in France when a British-owned Eriba pulled onto the site and I experienced a 'coup de foudre' moment. From then onward the hunt was on in earnest but it took us nine months to find our current van at AL in Poole even though we only live 12 miles away from them.

We haven't regretted the decision for a moment, so keep working on the other half and wear him down gradually.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions as there are lots of very knowledgeable people on here who are only too keen to welcome you into the fold.

Good luck!

I wonder why he is reluctant? the Eriba holds its price very well,
It is easy to tow and so good looking anyone should be proud to
have one attached to the car.
Does he give any excuses at all?

to the forum,
the plus, the aerodynamics, holds price well, easy to tow, saves fuel, lovely and light inside.
the minus would probably be the Eriba kiss but you soon adapt,
the middle ground would be the extras that you have to pay for if buying new, oooo choices, but some preowned already have some of them

thank you for your kind comment

I managed to get my husband to by a VW T5 camper and then set about talking him into an Eriba to go with it... it only took me two lengthy European tours!! We pick our new Triton up a week Saturday

Welcome and good luck!
