we have just taken delivery of an eriba troll 540 and paid extra for the pico fabric. We were surprised to see and be told by the dealer, that the front two seats are not the same as the rear seats/bed. The rear is all what we consider to be pico (seats and back cushion) but the front has 'pico' back cushion, but a different seat covering. Anyone else had this experience.

We have a new Troll and paid extra for Pico fabric. We have a multicolour back fabric to all the seats - kind of grey, beige with a hint of mustard, with all the seat bottoms in a beigey brown fabric, but all the same. We have the sprung form seats at the back but are disappointed at the foam seats at the front which look a bit crap after just a few weeks 🙁 I.e. the seams are moving. We have a snagging list as long as your arm and it’s going back to AL for some repairs. If yours isn’t right, stand your ground.

Fabric in our 2018 Troll is like yours - patterned back, beige seat. Like you, we were surprised the small dinette seats were not sprung like the larger end. What sort of snags do you have?

I don't think the front dinette seats have ever been available in sprung form, they've always been foam of some sort.

Am I right in thinking that the sprung front seats are an optional extra but only with vans that have a double dinette at the front?

They are an option extra. It looks like you can spec sprung for the front too on 418, 530, 535 and 550.
