As a lot of you know on the second day of the Meet in Cambridge our little dog Jetta became very ill. On contacting our daughter ( who's dog it is, we have only looked after for 7 years because of circumstances she couldn't), She wanted her back, so we agreed to meet her at Fleet Services, as it was to far for her to come from Dorchester to Cambridge and back in one day.

She then took her to her vet who prescribed some steroids, antibiotics, and painkillers. At first she rallied, and started eating again, but alas after a few days when the medication finished she relapsed. Sadly this morning she had to be put to sleep.

Margaret and I thank all of you for your kind remarks and the sympathy shown to us and the concern shown for Jetta during this very sad time.

Such sad news. Hope you are comforted by knowing you did the best you could for Jetta.

Thank you for letting us know. It's always hard to let them go but I'm sure you will have many happy memories of her time with you.
