Modification to tap micro switch.

When collecting our 2018 troll a few weeks ago, I asked the dealer about the modification to the water pump/tap micro switch circuit I.e. inserting a relay so that the 12v does not cause any arcing of the switch contacts and they said that this was not now necessary. Is this correct with the new vans or not. Anybody any thoughts on this?
Regards Graham.

Are they using a pressure sensing water system now?
