Hello every one

Just joined your forum, we are doing our home work on Eriba caravans before buying one. We have owned motor-homes in the past the last one was a Burstner 747,nice but to big to park anywhere, we sold it in 2011.We were sad to see it go at the time, but don't miss it at all now, knowing what we know now we should have got a Eriba first! that's just for us and our life style, i aint going to open motor-home versus caravans debate, what ever suits you that's great.

Hopefully we can learn a bit more about Eriba on this forum before we buy one,we have been down to Tebay to have a look at some layouts and try to get a feel about Eriba.

to the Forum, Woody.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions. You will find that the people on here are only too keen to help and to advise Eriba newbies. The first thing to decide is what size van do you require and when that decision has been made, which internal layout best suits your needs. It can all be very confusing and time consuming.

The best place to look at Eribas is Automotive Leisure in Poole, Dorset. You have to make an appointment to visit but they are extremely helpful. If you haven't already found their website, here's a link.

Good luck with your search!

Hi There

Thanks for the quick reply's folks, it will be a used Triton probably, maybe a troll. Its all down to how much we want to spend, been down the road of silly money for motor homes and thinking bigger is better!

The last MH had a garage and under floor storage the whole length of the van,you could store a wind surfing board and sails under there! sounds great eh, we just carried more junk. we even bought a piaggio x9 scooter and towed it on a trailer because the van was so big you could not park it in your average small town or holiday village hence the scooter to be mobile. Should have got a Eriba in the first place less is more they say and that's right, we want to travel light and be mobile and not try to tow a house around!

Hi Woody,

We are just back from Belgium where we picked up our 1982 Puck from.

We are towing with a VW Camper so opted for the smallest lighter unit. We actually met the couple we bought through
at a VW Event. Happy to share how we found this, but having already bought a VW from Vegas, USA, we weren't worried
about picking up a Puck from just over the channel.

Let me know if you want to know any more.

Tony
