Hi all,
We have had a 1983 Familia for 5 years now but until recently only got about 5 outings in her. Have 2 kids, girl of 11 and boy of 8. Our daughter has a spinal condition hence until recently haven't done a lot of camping but all better now so this summer we got our Eriba (called Babs due to the Eriba's curvaceous style of Barbara Windsor in Carry on Camping and all that!) out of a 2 year slumber to start again .. We used to browse these pages a few years ago but back with a renewed enthusiasm and have just returned from a great summer trip on the Llŷn Peninsula on the West Wales coastline. We now store it at a relatives in North Wales so we can explore the northern regions easier and after 5 expensive years storing near us in west London!
Recently found some rusty chassis and a spongy floor in one area so dealing with that now. Other than that shes in great condition.
Had the factory fitted fabric bunk over the front single area but son getting too big so now hoping to build a stronger removable bunk in that area rather than sell her on..
