Reich move Control II Comfort - Drive roller change

I have bought some new rollers to replace the grit rollers currently in place on my 320GT, one of which no longer has grit on it. I am planning to change them at the weekend - has anyone had experience of doing this? Do I need to remove the motor, or can I drop out the outboard end bearing and withdraw the roller (it has a slot to engage with the drive motor).

I'll make a point to take lots of pictures and write it up for the tips section!

Job done, and video footage taken. I'll post more details and a video as soon as I get everything documented. It was easier than I expected!

Here is the video: https://youtu.be/HH8oMlRY4d8

There is no sound - you don't want to hear me grunting while doing this job! It's 24 minutes long, but hopefully clear enough to give you the confidence to have a go yourself. If you have any questions, please fire away!

By the way, if any one wants the old rollers (one of which still has grit on it), you can have one or both for the price of the postage. They'll go in the scrap metal bin on the 28th September if no one claims them. I am not sure how much postage will be, as they are quite heavy. It will however be significantly cheaper than new rollers (£80+ each!).
