Eriba Pan Familia chassis
Eriba Pan Familia chassis

Hi to all,
A few weeks ago my husband and I travelled to France to buy an Eriba Pan Familia (1992), which we were delighted with and immediately started bringing up to scratch, fitting new back lights for example. So, imagine our distress when on Monday morning my husband went to the local campsite to fit a new door seal, only to find that overnight someone had stolen the whole chassis! We are left with the van and its 4 legs! Obviously in this state we can make no use of our poor little Eriba. I just wonder if anyone out there in the UK has any idea where we might be able to get a new chassis? We are resident in Spain and we are looking here and in France but any helpful suggestions would be very welcome. Best wishes to all you Eriba folk and I hope to be back in touch with happier news.

Hi Deborah. As Dave has said, can we establish what exactly has been taken?
Perhaps this diagramme may help. Is it the Framework that's missing or the T Pole Chassis? g7p1994-Framework-separated.html

Sorry, let me clarify that the Spanish member is my husband, so happily we are only referring to one incident. Also, yes the axle and wheels were taken, the whole chassis and the towing part!

Thanks Deborah. I have added the information from the Spanish Forum to about 6 Eriba Facebook Pages throughout Europe.
Regarding sourcing a chassis, I suppose the first thought is buying new by contacting ALKO. http://www.al-ko.co.uk/section/commercia...er-chassis.html
The Eriba Touring doesn't have a Caravan chassis but a T Pole Trailer chassis.
