I've asked the question on our Facebook page as there are many classic Puck owners on there.

Have you considered getting your original one refurbished / rebuilt. There are people around who will do this. These people http://www.shock-factory.co.uk/ apparently make shock absorbers and may possibly be able to help. The basic parts may be ok, but just needing new seals, bushes and oil. They are not very complicated.

Jandi are good folk to ask - always super helpful

Taunton Trailers have a nice selection of dampers and may have some good advice, they were very helpful when I talked to them about brake parts for our '76 Familia.

The unfortunate part is I'm in the States and I've reached out to all the companies in the UK with no luck so far. I'm trying to contact some custom shock companies and trying to find a place to have it rebuilt. I didn't think it would be this difficult to replace the shock. Has anyone figured out how to eliminate the shock all together? It is light enough I really don't need the brakes.

Are you on Facebook? A couple of years ago a couple of Eribafolk Facebook Members from the States opened this group:-

They may be able to give you some contacts over there
