We have lived full time in our Troll 530 for nearly 6 months now. There are two of us and 4 dogs. During this time we have had the summer heatwave, cold weather, freezing temperatures, extreme heavy downpours, and winds reaching to 50mph. The van has been superb for all these weathers. The heating is very effective thus we have been so cosy. The fridge, perfectly functioning. The cooker is very robust and works a treat. Storage space is abundant. Even the teeny bathroom functions well for us. Lighting is very good. Moving the caravan is just so easy. We only have a Shadow so no messing about with putting awnings up and down. Just so very impressed with the whole thing. Superb. Would recommend to anyone! We might be preaching to the converted here though 😁😁

Hello! We move every 28 days as per rules. We sold our house 6 months ago and living in our van whilst we buy a small property for retirement. We should be in just after Christmas. Then we hope to do a proper tour of the UK and later on Europe. Thanks for your interest. There are not any photos as we haven’t moved out of the area due to still working. But we are almost retired now. A week to go 😁

Its great to hear how much you are enjoying your van. I have two questions; The first is where do your dogs sleep at night? The second is at this time of the year do you sleep with the roof up or down? With best wishes

The dogs sleep on the front beds. We never sleep with the roof down unless it is blowing a gale and therefore too noisy under the canvas 😁😁

that sounds great. Do you stay on a regular site or have other arrangements?

We are about to retire at Christmas but up until now due to being at work we have had to stay in the area. We move between sites in the same area as we can only stay for 28 days 😁
