Having very recently acquired a 1973 Eriba Pan Familia I was looking for a suitable towbar to fit to my Skoda Yeti. I noticed a discussion here on this subject and was concerned to notice that quite a few Yeti owners had found that the ball on their " standard" Westfalia towbar was too high and caused their Eriba to be towed nose up.
One forum contributor mentioned that they had fitted a Brink detachable towbar which was fine, so on that basis I took the plunge a purchased the same.
Having now fitted it to my 2016 Yeti I can confirm the towbar ball centre is at 44cm from the ground, the perfect height for my van.
So thanks to all who contributed to this subject and hopefully my experience will help any future Yeti owners with their towbar choice.
