Pop Top

Hi all, just one quick question, which option is best,when storing away caravan in the garage for the winter, do you leave pop top up or down?

I've done both in the past and I cannot really see it makes any difference. If down the only advantage is the pop top fabric should stay cleaner, but we are splitting hairs.
I suppose the ideal would be to keep the van in a "not cold" garage, on axle stands, window vents cracked open, pop-top up with a protective cover on,

Ours is in a big storage shed, cold but dry, windows on vent, pop top up, nothing else. This is our 4th winter with her and so far so good. Shes 20 years old.
