A 1998 Triton 420, recently sold by Automotive Leisure. It has a non-dimpled finish (unusual in itself for that age), but also the front and lower side panels are in various shades of grey and white. The interior however and the exterior rear light clusters are the norm for that year's models (unlike Islay's).

I'm amazed that Eriba made so many slightly different changes to models between 1995 and 2002 to coincide with the smooth finish, front windows, gas box, wheel spats and light cluster changes that took place to the exterior look during that period. It couldn't have just been about phasing out old stock and phasing in new stock because it took place over nearly 6 years.

More likely a paint and vinyl job to hide stone damage.

Yes maybe but still a smooth finish which is unusual for the year. I quite like the paint job.
