Hi all
We're looking to buy an Eriba Troll if anyone is selling please ?? I think for a family of 3 and myself being 6'2" a Troll 540 would better than a 530. I think a Pre 2005 would be in our price range. Thanks

Welcome and best of luck in your search. At 6'2" a 530 is going to be a problem sleeping across the van. Have you considered the 550 and 555. These Trolls are 4" wider at 2.1m instead of 2.0m.Sleeping across the van should be possible and they offer dining space for 3. A 540 would not allow this.

Just out on interest Richard, is your Troll really weighing in at 1200kg? This model is normally only 1000kg.

We have made the sad decision to sell our Eriba Troll 555Gt 2004.

There is a pre-2005 (just, I think) Eriba 540 come up on Facebook Harry but it still might be outside your range. He's looking for £12,750 for it.

Using the 540 rear lounge benches as singles you get a 6ft 5ins bed, fine for someone 6ft 2ins tall. However sleeping across the van on a pre 2010 540 (or indeed a 530) you only get about 6ft 2ins of bed space, which isn't enough for a 6ft 2ins tall person to be comfortable. It's why the 540 is known as the 'lang slaper'. The wider post 2010 body gives 6ft 6ins ish across the van. As others have indicated the 530 allows space for more than two at the bow table whereas the 540 doesn't. However the 530 often has a fixed double up the back whereas that option isn't available on 540's. Therefore, unless you decide to leave a 540 rear bed made up, there should always be room to seat at least three at the lounge table.

Original bill of sale and dealer service history, the last including a major service, habitation check, full under seal, 3 new tyres and a 85ah leisure battery costing £780. Extras include, Reich motor mover, AL KO hitch lock, PRO TEC outdoor cover and original Soplair Ardeche awning. Apologies for poor photos as He’s currently in storage in Cumbria just off the M6. We have decided today to leave the Eriba fold and so will be putting our 2004 540Troll on the market soon.
Not perfect, but has mover and all the usual fittings. We are in SW Birmingham and won't be anywhere as expensive
as the Troll at the dealer mentioned in this thread!!

We have a Eriba Troll 540GT for sale if you are still looking for one.

It is the one with the huge bed one end and the single bed at the dining end.

It is from 1999 but we bought it in 2012 and have only done less than 1000 miles since. The previous owner took it out once and then died and it was kept under covered storage until we bought it.

We are only selling because we just don't use it and our family don't want to either and we are paying for storage every month. We do love it and it has been well looked after.

I can send you full details if you are interested. It is in storage at the moment in Southampton, Hampshire.
