Wheel spat repair

Recently found that part of our wheel spat had broken off preventing the front lower edge being fully secured by the screw. I have fixed this by gluing on a sandwich of aluminium and putting a new hole through. Whilst I was at it it noticed a crack appearing at the other end. To prevent this getting worse (hopefully) I drilled a few holes part way through the plastic and covered it with Araldite epoxy resin. Will probably have to do the same on the other side. These are obviously not built to last. our Triton is 2015 so not that old.

I claimed for a new front light fairing, the one around the jacking point, on my 2017 Triton. I was dubious if Hymer would authorise this as a warranty job but they did. I had sent photo in to Lowdhams of Nottingham clearly showing and stating this crack was not a result of impact damage but a failure of the material.
Could be worth a try for yourself.
