The reason I stumbled across the above pic. was because I was looking for more details on this beast.

It's a 1994 Renault Eribacar 595 owned by a Frenchman, Patrick Gatti (wonder if he's related to out Mr Gatti?).
Anyway, he says it is incredibly rare but hasn't answered my question as to whether it came with the hard top or was it converted? A really good conversion if it was.
During my enquiries I was told that the type number on all Renault based Eribacars (eg. 520, 530, 580) are based on their chassis length.
The Talbot/Citroen Eribacars have a beast of an engine (not sure if all do). It's a 2,5L Citroen C25 atmospheric diesel.
A few years ago I was chatting to a Frenchman in Portugal who owed a year 2000 Fiat Eribacar 595 which was, he considered, the last of the true Eriba shaped Eribacars.

before the Eriba Style 576 came along in 2003/2004.

The above may not be definitive so if anyone can add or alter anything it'd be much appreciated. Where are you SDA?
