Hello Fellow Eriba Caravanners

I have just joined your Forum and look forward to reading about your many adventures with our fantastically designed Eriba Caravans. I have attached two photos of one of the many outings for our Eriba Touring Troll T - these being taken at the Spital am Pyhrn Campsite Austria.

Hi and welcome to Eribafolk. Almost our double apart from a different shape awning light. Touring Troll T (AKA 530)

I also notice that you don't have front lower side lights on the van. That's unusual and only the second time I've seen that.

Hi Randa

Thank you for the welcome and interesting that we have a double (well almost.......).

My Eriba is a 1998 German made caravan, which I purchased new when working near to Heinsburg, Germany. It has a number of 'unusal' features and these were ordered as extras when we placed our order. Some examples are:

a. It is fully winterised with an internal 40 litre fresh water tank and 2 external waste wate tanks.
b. Has an extra 200 kg of load carrying capacity, this meaningit can carry a load of 400 kgs - even when we used it as a removal van, ithas never exceeded this!!
c. It has a built in retractable entry step.
d. 12 volt Heater auto control.
e. Air Mix facility.

Maybe one day 'they' will meet.

Some interesting mods and the extra 200kg of payload would be very handy for bringing the wine back home.

Ours is a 1999. g1p1-Troll-circa.html

Hi Randa

I notice that your table looks like it can be 'supported by a 'rail' above the wheel arch and attached to the caravan body. I have heard of this but not seen it. Please do you have a close up picture of this rail as I have been thinking of retro fitting this to my caravan.

Also, does your Gazabo fit into the mounting brackets that are secured within the 'awning' rail? If your Gazebo does, please was it a special purchase or did you modify it?

Many thanks

Caracol

This is one version of the table rail; this one is plastic. https://www.caravansandcampersltd.co.uk/...-2ft-610mm.html It's the same profile as the aluminium rails fitted beneath the front and rear windows that accommodate the tables.

However, there are aluminium ones on the market but I don't know who stocks them. Perhaps someone else can help. Use a magnet to find the steel tubular cross rail above the wheel arch beneath the aluminium cladding, for a good fixing point and make sure it's well sealed in to prevent leaks.

The pyramid awning is made by Soplair and most come with side rails and curtains. Ours (which was found inside the van when we bought it, didn't ). It slides into the awning bead rail the same as all others awnings/canopies. It hooks into the awning rail brackets although we have a second bracket fitted near the back as this awning is not as long as our full awning.
