Caravan protection.

I have just installed some new caravan protection. Most of you will know it as a speed hump. I looked around for something to let me get close, but not too close. Ordinary parking bay bars were too narrow and I found a firm, uktrafficsafetyproducts, on eBay and for £26 delivered and 45 minutes with a drill and socket, fitted and working. That's a neat solution to a tricky problem. Our drive was a bit short and I had to back up until I just touched the draw bar (unless I was really lucky). However we have gained about 3 foot after having a roller shutter garage door so I can usually avoid reversing into the Triton now.

(hopefully free from double entendres this time .... )

Nice idea. I'm guessing the dents in the van side are from earlier parking glitches.

That’s a 2 metre ramp, only just big enough..

They are from Hillary’s. I don’t like curtains and this was next choice. I also have a streetlight across the road and these help with the glare.

I was a specialist fitter for Hillarys. Took early retirment beginning of March.
