We've just got our first Eriba and very excited. It's in brilliant condition. I'am wondering about wallpaper and paint to make it trendy and vintage , will I be losing value if I do?

. It's your Eriba so it's up to you. Styling it to suit you may devalue the van but are you planning on selling it on or keeping it? Whatever you do ENJOY.

I "updated" our van just with the soft furnishings.....curtains, seats etc I kept all the acres of nets and hideous yellow curtains in case a next owner likes the original. She's really pretty now- the original yellow scheme made my eyes bleed. But as has been said, it is your van.

The original mustard yellow curtains were undoubtedly hideous and (in my view) made our 1999 Triton look dingy and unloved, so I made some new ones, they really brightened up the interior. I liked the original upholstery so kept that, after much deliberation made a change to the bench seats as well, I thought long and hard about it, decided we would keep the van for 10 years at least so we might as well have it the way we wanted, one of these days I will take some decent photos and put in the gallery

Keep the original curtains and nets, if you have them. If you decide to recover the seats, leave the original covers on underneath. That way if you do decide to sell, you can revert it back to as original as is possible, should the buyer want it to be.
