Looking at buying an Eriba 320 but ‘only’ have a Polo. Apparently it is capable of towing 1000kg so a 320 is possible but I just wondered if anyone here has experience with a Polo tow car?

Yes, I tow a 1997 Pan Duo T (old version of Familia 320) with a VW Polo.My car is a 1.6 TDI diesel and is only 75bhp.I have no problem with stability or lack of power.It copes well with our Derbyshire hills and returns 40 + mpg when towing.My Pan is only 750kg so you may need to go for an older Eriba.Look for condition not age...Your Polo may be more "peaky" in performance but should be fine.I think a dealer in Lancashire has an Eriba like ours coming in.Good luck.
