SOLD - FORTEX Aronde "Blue Edition" awning for Eriba Troll range (post 2012).
This is a large (5mx3m) awning of very high quality from Holland.
Made from Tencate fabrics by a family firm in Enschede, Netherlands, this is a deluxe awning made to last.
No guy lines, no sagging roofs, comes with storm straps and pegs in quality bags.
Will deliver, at cost, within a reasonable distance of Bournemouth or collect yourself. Bought in September 2014 and only used once per year since then. It is in excellent condition. Breathable groundsheet available at an extra cost (£30).
There is no damage or bits missing. This awning does not come with curtains as the windows include zip up blinds. The two small side windows at the front, also with zip over covers, are mosquito mesh for ventilation.
As already stated it is in excellent condition and has been stored in heavy duty bags in dry conditions.
£450 for quick sale.

Hi George531
Yes it is still available although I was advise to also advertise it on Ebay, but if your interested I will hold off from that move.
Regards Peter

Yes this is the same one. I originally put it up for £350 on this Forum together with my mobile number(error) as well but and was contacted by a Forum member (who would have been interested but wrong model Eriba) who advise that I was selling it too cheap. I reviewed othesr on this site and Ebay and also came to that conclussion, as I paid 1500 Euros (£1,300) for it . I therefore changed the price on this Forum but completely forgot about the Caravan club site. My apologies for that. Those that I have seen seem to sell for £500 -£700 so I still believe mine is reasonable. However, I completely understand if you no longer wish to pursue your interest.
Regards Peter

I was surprised by the advert as I had put "Blue edition" into the web to find which model it was but could not work it out. I have a pre 2009 fortex awning that I use on a post 2009 van, bought on ebay. It works well if the ground is fairly flat and the rain is not hard. Hence my interest in your fortex. I have the model that has an extra circular pole and small overhang at the front. Which model is yours. Regards George

This model does not have the canopy extension. I thought I put some pictures on my post but when I look back I must have done something wrong (not good at this Forum process as this is my first time) as it only shows the file reference. Anyway if you use the link below and go the the Eriba section a picture of the awning is on the middle in the second row (only it is blue).
The reason I'm selling as we have only ever used it once each year and only for 1 week each time, except for one trip to France when we used it for 3 weeks. We normally tour only staying a couple of days at each site so this awning is not practical. We now have an Ominstor Canopy which better suites us. When we have used the Fortex and it has rained we have not had any problems other than if we have not ensure a close tight fit on the padded bars to the Caravan, when we have had some leakage.
Hope this helps
