Don’t think it’s the first time for Lunar. Didn’t they have a managers buyout or some such a few years ago?
The way things are going there’ll only be a couple of manufacturers left!

IIRC the current management were a buy-out when the previous Belgian owners went bust. Surprised to see them goong into administration - during our recent fortnight at a Club site, they were very well represented amongst the plethora of Baileys and Swifts.

Looking at their web site, they seem to do several classes of caravan in addition to motorhomes and campervans. Maybe it a case of overstretching. Hopefully the administrators will find a suitable buyer.

Such a shame for a long standing caravan manufacturer.
Since the management take over a few years ago they seem to have been making headway into making lighter caravans for the newer generation of lighter cars.
You would have thought it was the way to go especially with the advent of the electrically powered cars.
I'm afraid it's another victim of the times.
Hopefully someone will step in and save the jobs of the people employed by Lunar and give the brand a future.
Perhaps Geely will take them over.

Bets regards
Tom
