No not the van itself just the weight lifting challenging huge table.
Loft? Shed? Summerhouse? Garage? or are you superhumanly able to use it in the van itself?
What do you use instead?
We bought a 540 from a forum member last year and the brutish table went straight into the loft and there it will remain.

Used ours twice, once at the Summer Meet 2018 and once Exe Valley as put on farewell meal for outgoing wardens Paul & Kath. Since then it lives in Garage !
The Troll has front dinette and fold out top on the rear cupboard so can dine in either location. We tend to eat outside so have several lightweight aluminium folding tables that we carry in car.

Ours is in the garage permanently.
We use a small table top with a single leg. It rests on the cabinet top.

When we bought a 540 in 2013 (new), we used the table once and it spent the next six years in the garage. Pretty much the same with our new 540, except that I managed to get the monster into the loft - and there it will remain!

Hmm never realised I had superhuman strength. We use ours all the time - usually outside though. We did use it inside during the "beast from the east" when we first picked up the van but it was a bit unwieldy so we haven't done that since.
Cheers, Tom

AL did an alteration for us. They removed the folding legs, added a single leg, made the whole thing smaller and lighter, added the necessary fixing so that we could use it outside and added the necessary fixing to the back cupboard so that we can use it inside. It has the popper clips underneath so that it can travel on the long seat attached to the straps. The only thing they neglected to do was to neaten the original screw holes with covers, but I sorted that neatly. Bit pricey but altogether successful!

Used ours once and decided it was too big and heavy to handle. It now lives in the garage and we use a smaller lighter single leg table. This clips on to the cupboard between the seats using connector rail bought on Ebay ,and is stored in the wardrobe when not in use

Hi I posted elsewhere on this subject but since then I've had a good look around in the market place and also measured and weighed the 420 table.
It came out at 100cmL x 55cmW x 73cmH and weighs in at 10Kg.
I've found a few tables that come out at an acceptable size compared and lighter but most have a leg system which doesn't lend itself to fit in between the seat cushions which are about 50cm apart.
What I have done though is wrapped a strap around the table to stop the legs springing out and also make the table easier to lift.
The table isn't that heavy it's just a little cumbersome to withdraw from under the nearside seat where we keep it.
With the strap though i've found it a tad easier.
I think we'll persevere and see.
Very best regards
Tom

We still use ours although I agree it isn't the most thought out bit of kit in the Eriba. Having it strapped to the seat with the poppers doesn't really work (have found it on the floor following a recent trip. Tend to stick it under the left hand seat and roll it out rather than lifting it. Then shove it in the awning overnight.
However it's days are numbered as looking at getting one of these. The smallest one will (should) fit between the beds.

Hi
As an update we've just bought a height adjustable table off Olypa.
Very simple and basic but very easy to adjust and at a reasonable price.
It will be more versatile for us than the supplied Eriba table plus it's only just over half the weight..
Best regards
Tom
