Thank you very much for letting me know about your van, we sold our motor home as felt it was too big (after owing a much smaller one for many years), since selling we have been renting Air B&B and are currently undecided what to do, so for us we are not in a rush, but would be interested in how much you may be looking for your van?

Our larger van did have air con so I understand exactly what you mean after being stuck in the heat wave in France this year.

Hi. We tried a range of VW-type campers & smaller-type motorhomes. In France we learned to hate stripping stuff off the van so we could drive into town / whatever.

We finally settled on a 4WD Automatic VW Caravelle (simple bed in the back) with 200 horses or so. We very much enjoyed towing the Eriba with this van, any hill, any surface - no probs & we can set up & drive away in the VW at a moments notice. Perfect.

My wife wants more space, more bunks, more height, more width, oven, microwave, jet-assist & thermo-nuclear toilet sea warmers .. so we have to make the change. Condition is perfect, these are SOLID caravans, all excellent in my humble opinion.

We thought £20k ono at this spec for a private sale & we discuss going to fetch it back from Salou. Xmas is just a nuisance to me but I’m happy to go fetch it, enjoy a day on the ferry (Portsmouth to Bilbao or Santander) before turning round. We can also use the Caravan here while we look around. J.

Thank you for coming back to me on price etc, it is a bit more than we are looking to spend, however as said, keep us in the loop as we have changed our minds quite a few times.

I also see you are in Leic, we live in the same area, we are considering buying one again in preparation for a road trip to Europe.
