To turn over or not to turn over cushions

Is there a "proper" way to use cushions to make up the beds & sleep on at night pattern face up or face down???
Used the forum search to no avail for guidance.

Asking as a friend asked what we do , consequently has put doubt in our minds!!! He (bit of a know it all & owner of a WWB!!!) said his manual says to have pattern side down ie, sleep on underside.
Cannot find any guidance in Eriba manual .Unless I've missed it and
does it really matter???
any "Eriba" thoughts appreciated
Thank you

Well, Ecclesiastes 3 and the Byrds Songbook say there's a time for evey purpose so turn, turn, turn, but we've never done it . In fact we can't as the rear beds in our Troll have a board to the underside.

We have never turned the cushions to sleep in our Eribas.

I think that the WWB seat cushions are more likely to have a raised rolled edge, so that in order to achieve a flat surface they have to be turned and switched middles to edge (looks far too much like a perverse form of Jenga to me)
