Sooo... We have just bought our first brand new Eriba, thought I had all the options down, we are getting the 530 with convertible dinette and currently I've gone for the foam seating, however should I have gone for the sprung?? I've got a week to change my mind! Thought this might be already covered in a thread somewhere so please point me in the right direction if it has!!

The advantage of the spring mattress is that you don't get too hot due to the air circulation.... apparently..
I have only had springs so it will need somebody who has had both to constructively comment. My only gripe with the spring is that the front edge inside had to be glued back as it pulled away after a year on my 2012 Eriba, it wasn't a big job to do. Other than that they are very comfortable.

Having had both, I find the foam far more comfortable, its also lighter so you get a higher pay load.

I would go for foam having had springs. They are very poor quality. I converted to reflex foam and the difference was remarkable.

We are on our 4th Eriba. Our first I converted the rear dinette with a domestic sprung mattress and 2" foam topper. The second had a fixed bed foam mattress. The third we set the sprung rear dinette up permanently with a 2" foam topper. Our 4th and current van has a fixed bed sprung mattress with a 2" foam topper.
As you will see I think we have had all possible set-ups and I would be hard pressed to tell any difference, as on holiday you generally sleep better. If I had to make a choice I would go with our present set-up, but what-ever you choose I think you will have a comfortable sleep, so don't worry.
