I've never heard of this before so I thought I should share it:-
Last year Facebook Eribafolk Member Steven Shaw covered his Eriba ready for winter, with the pop top in the closed position. However he discovered this:-

His pop top canvas had been eaten by mice although he was sure everything was locked down tight.

Short story about mouse behavior. When we was camping permanently in the winter we got a lot of advice how to keep the mouses out. Then I got a good idea............not. We have a cat with long hair, so when we were brushing it we saved the fur. Next time we took the bag to the caravan and put a lot of fur around the legs of the caravan. We didn't use all of it so we left the bag in the tent. The idea was that the smell from the cat would scare the mouse. Next weekend when we got to the caravan we found out the all the mouses had nested in the bag with the leftover fur
