Brittany ferries Cork to Santander 2020 booking update

Hi. For anyone trying to book the summer 2020 Cork to Santander ferry from May on, please be aware that the Irish website facility for booking may not be available until the 23rd of October. This being after the website crashed after announcing its post April schedule a couple of days ago.
Also be aware that the deposit is rising to 50% from 25 after April 2020. Booking for May 2020 can still be made by telephone, so don’t panic.
Didn’t like the 50% deposit rise btw.

Looks like other Brittany Ferries bookings are live. I booked Plymouth - Roscoff for Aug 30th yesterday.

To eribaMotters: yes I spotted that. The UK site being fine I mean. Only for the fact that I signed up for the Brittany ferries Ireland email alerts I would never have known there was an issue. An email and a phone call later confirmed the problem. Apparently there are only 8 booking staff in Cork so my call was diverted to Plymouth to be processed. Anyway, I suppose it only effects a limited few over here. I recommend calling them if all else fails.
