Right chaps. Just thought I would update this thread, I hate it when you are following a thread and it just peters out.

Anyway, I dived into the shed and dug out my old ball hitch winch, not been used for years. I removed the cable as it was fraying and replaced it with 10m of double braid rope, single handed I managed to get the Puck up the slope, around the house and onto its winter hard standing (the base of an old shed).

So, for now, the w8nch will do the job.

Thanks for all the help chaps.

Steve

Well done mate. Nothing better than a plan coming together.

Well done, that sounds like the best solution. We use a boat winch, attached to a metal ring fixed to the garage floor, to get our puck up a small but steep slope outside the garage door. Worked a treat so far!

A motor mover seems like overkill for a puck as on most hills it is hooked up to the car and the rest of the time it is very easy to roll single handed.

It took 3 people to push my puck onto a leveling ramp on soft gravel.
