Just wondered if anyone on the forum owned a VW California to tow their Eriba?

I have a question about towing with a VW T6 (Quasi) bike rack attached.

What is the clearance like between the bike rack when used and the Eriba, been told the T6 'Quasimodo' bike rack sticks out around 82cm, the Eriba touring does not have a flat front like conventional caravans so hope this is enough, depends I know on how tight you turn?

Thats one big ugly a** cycle rack for a VW!

That sticks out much further than the VW rack on our T5, as the back of that was much closer to the van than this one. I can only find two pics of our T5 with the rack folded down and bikes (only 2) in situ and they are from a distance. However, I think you can see that the outside edge of the rack is reasonably close to the front of the Eriba. Turning is the issue. Also, the further back that rack goes, the least likely you are going to be able to lift the tailgate with bikes on without some serious gas strutts.
