Hi Eriba Folk,
I am new to Eriba and caravaning in general. Just took the plunge and ordered a 310GT (silver). Any advice would be welcomed. I have also ordered the Walker Touring Plus awning, but also like the look of the Abri Kwik awning. Does anyone have any experience of pictures of his.
Many thanks,
Robbie.

Sorry don't have any experience of those awnings but someone will be along soon I'm sure. In the meantime welcome to the wonderful world of Eriba's. Lots of knowledge on here. A lot of us myself included came to Eribas from a tent so you're not the first novice caravanner and it's unlikely you will make a mistake that somebody here hasn't already made. How long do you have to wait for your 310?

Hi Robbie and welcome to the forum.
There are a few members who have a Walker Touring Plus and we believe they are very happy with them.
Keith and Sue published a photo of theirs only the other day. Someone will surely advise you on them soon. Meanwhile we hope you'll enjoy this forum and please, if you need any advice on anything, you only have to ask.

The Walker is very similar to the VanderHorn Sneek,
they are easy to put up with two people.
Awning threaded in the rail
Follow the diagram and build the back caravan supports
Add the ridge poles extended to reach the ground
Build the front poles on, extend to take up the awning.
Put out at least two guys, pegged to stop the wind lifting it
Peg out the rear corners
Add the panels, peg out the front corners.
Then peg out the rest and tension
I find that ladder rubbers are very useful, sometimes they are supplied

Rock Pegs like the Blue diamond (boxes of 10) are very good on hardstandings.

GT Runner.
We've had our new silver Triton 420GT a couple of weeks and one thing you have to get used to is admirers!! We have had strangers approach us at petrol stations to comment, fellow campers at sites asking all about it and all our neighbours have had a 'viewing' lol. We tow with a silver VW T5 campervan, so we are quite noticeable. We have yet to see another silver Eriba on the road but I am sure we'll see more soon, especially when we set off for 3 months in Europe.
