Hi Kurt. You are most welcome and I think hold the privilege of owning the oldest Eriba on here. If not we'll soon know

Welcome and nice to see something with a bit of class. If it had been a 61 I'd be fighting you for it. I ws born in 61.

I think you will be fighting my wife... She instantly fell in love with it... And told me "if you get rid of the Eriba, you should get a good lawyer "

Hi there-
I just bought a 1962 eriba faun and I'm trying to get it registered as an antique for the licensing in our state. In order to do that I need to prove its value but these are so hard to find I cant find any for sale to use as a comparable. Do you have any ideas where I can demo the value?

Wenn Sie hier auf Links zu eBay klicken und einen Kauf tätigen, kann dies dazu führen, dass diese Website eine Provision erhält.

I'm guessing you are not in the UK. Not many dealers trade in the older vans as they usually go by private sale. On e-bay is at present a 1959 model. Werbung: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1959-Eriba-Fa...OwAAOSwVT5gYwRr Key as he says in the add has been dealing in vintage Eriba's for some years and should be able to give you an idea. The price of the example on sale does not surprise me. The UK dealer Kool Classics may also be able to help.https://www.koolclassics.com/

Thanks Colin. I'm in the USA and it is very difficult to find any fauns anywhere. I had already found this ad but the info and Kool Klassics resource is another option for me to check out.

Just another thought. Wherever you are, sourcing a specific 60 year old van is going to be a problem. I'd guess most of the vans are going to be in Europe, Germany and Netherlands in particular. The largest sales site for vans etc is probably Markplaats, so I'd bookmark this and just keep looking. I think it would also be worth looking into shipping costs as that would have to be factored into a valuation.
