Cupboard hinges

Much has been said in this forum about the quality of fittings and fastenings. My gripe is the cupboard hinges. I have inserted a picture of a couple that have badly rusted and even ceased causing a little damage to the cupboard doors. These on a 2015 (bought new) Troll 540! Disgrace or what! So I’ve decided to replace them with a suitable piano hinge (pic included) and am pleased with the result.
Has anyone else had the same problem? If so how did you fix?

It's a common problem with those silver finished hinges, my 2012 Eriba Famila was ok, I think they were brass colour. However my 2015 Familia are all tarnished. The link below has a few fixes and link to buy similar cupboard hinges.

We looked at replacing our minging ones with the articulated hinges that one used to find on the French built Eribas but at £10 per hinge it was an expense too far for us, ours aren't quite as bad as the ones in the photo but the piano hinge might be the way to go when we fit the replacement doors which are currently in our loft awaiting the lifting of the lockdown (see newbies nearly thread )
