Apologies for causing confusion. I am actually an existing member but couldn't get my log in details (well at least the ones that I had recorded) to work so I
re-registered using the same details. I could not work out how to contact administration any other way.

So what was you're original forum name? We'll see what has happened.

Whenever people join the forum I always check to see if they have re-joined while leaving a previous membership current yet unused. (Basically the system allows us to check for duplicated email addresses.) When I find a duplicated membership, I activate the new one and delete the old one.

This is probably what happened. Unfortunately, as deletions are irrevocable, there is nothing I can now do about it.

EDIT I've just checked back through the last 100 Administrative team actions and can find no record of this account having been deleted individually so it must have been done as a matter of routine when it was flagged as being dormant.
