Just saying hello!

Hi Everyone,
I'm the proud owner of a Puck 120 gt which I used for the first time a week ago. I'm new to Eriba but have over 30 years experience of caravanning. Really love the Puck and have always fancied an Eriba but my wife thought they were too small at the time and so we never had one. Just me and the dog now I'm sorry to say but this little Puck is fine for us. Just a few electrical teething problems but I'm sorting them out. A Soplair awning came with it but for me on my own it is a nightmare to put up and so I'll be selling it. Excellent condition but I think I shall be looking for an inflatable one in the near future. Anyway. Nice to be here.

Regards,

Frank

Hi Frank and welcome to Eribafolk
There are several folk on here who now manage a Puck on their own often with their dawg there to supervise. I'm sure they'll give you the benefit of their experience regarding suitable awnings etc.

Hello Frank. Welcome :)

We joined a couple of years ago and have been very grateful for the help given by the Eriba folk here. A great bunch of people with lots of good advice.

All the best with your Puck. Adventures lie ahead!

Colin.

Welcome to the Forum Frank.

I'm sure that you will have a lot of fun with your Puck.

Awnings wise you need to remember that many awnings with air beams can be pretty heavy and difficult to hold up as you get the last bit of the awning thread into the rail. This is especially so with an Eriba as you have a rail that only starts at head height, not at the bottom of the van like most white boxes. Check the weights carefully before you buy one.
